Outdoor Video Monitor LCD – Q Series

All weather capable display with IP (Ingress Protection) rating of IP65. Providing full protection against dust and water projection.

Industrial grade LCD module, with sunlight readable 2,500 nits. High TNi 110ºdeg Liquid Crystal for prevention against blackouts, and viewable with polarised glasses.

These outdoor monitors have no external or accessible screws. This
Prevents vandalism and unwanted tampering.

Purpose built outdoor video monitor for 24hr / 7 day use with automatic brightness sensor, self monitored fan cooling and heating control. Thermal protection is also built in for when internal temperatures get too high and automatically recovers when temperatures are within operating range.

Standard 8mm Tempered glass is supplied for protection. With the option to upgrade to Anti-vandal glass (8mm: 2x 3mm laminated) and add Projected Capacitive Touch (PCAP). Glass is Anti-reflective (AR) coated to minimise reflections and increase sunlight readability.

The front of the outdoor video monitor is hinged and opens up to give you easy access. Allowing maintenance in landscape and portrait orientation, without having to remove the video monitor from the wall. A hand remote control unit is also supplied, to easily change menu settings and internal space for your media player.

Currently available in 55″, 65″ and 75″ and now 86″.

If you missed us at the Integrate Expo this year, we have a video giving you a brief overview of the Q series outdoor video monitor which shares the same features as the standalone H series portrait kiosks.

These photos were taken from our most recent tests outside our office. As you can see they perform excellent in full direct sunlight. This is due to the combination of a high brightness LCD and the anti-reflective coating on the glass. Automatic brightness control can also be enabled to adjust the backlight brightness level, to suit the surrounding ambient light levels.

These latest outdoor monitors are suited for a wide range of installations from Shopping Centres, outdoor advertising and wayfinding, Quick Service Restaurants (QSR), outdoor menu boards and interactive self service, to Public Transport Passenger Information Displays (PID) – Bus, Train and Tram shelter/station timetables and wayfinding.
